Metin2 spoofer and HWID bans

An HWID ban means the block is applied to your computer, not your account. Opening a new account doesn't help, because the server recognises you by your hardware. A spoofer is a tool that tries to change this hardware ID in software so the system sees you as "a new computer". This page explains what it does and what it does not do, as it is.

What is HWID, and why is an HWID ban heavier?

HWID (Hardware ID) is a unique identifier derived from the physical parts of your computer. It is built by combining values such as the motherboard serial number, disk ID and network card address. Once the game server has recorded this ID, it recognises your machine rather than your account.

In practice the difference from an account ban is huge:

Account banHWID (device) ban
What it blocksA single accountThe whole computer
Opening a new accountWorksDoesn't work
Other players in the same householdNot affectedAffected if they use the same machine
PermanenceCan be temporaryLasts until the hardware changes

So for a player with an HWID ban, the problem is not "creating a new character" but not being able to get into the game at all.

What a spoofer does — and doesn't do

It does: change the hardware ID values the system reports to the server. The goal is for the device-based block not to recognise you.

It does not — and we say this plainly:

  • It won't bring back your banned account. If you have an account-based sanction, that account stays banned. A spoofer does not touch an account ban.
  • It is not a permanent solution. Anti-cheat systems are updated regularly; spoofing is a race. A method that works today may not work after an update.
  • It does not remove the risk. Using a tool to get around a sanction is a rule violation and, if detected, creates a new sanction.
  • It won't stop you getting banned. A spoofer is not protection software; it tries to get past a past device block, it does not hide your future behaviour.

If you want to weigh bot and sanction risk as a whole, we recommend reading the Metin2 fishing bot ban risk page — there we explain in detail how a ban comes about and what gets you caught.

How do I know if I have an HWID ban?

Confusing a device ban with an ordinary login problem is common. The practical way to tell them apart:

  • You opened a new, clean account and it can't log in either. This is the strongest sign. If it were an account ban, the new account would work.
  • The same account can log in from another computer. That means the problem is the machine, not the account.
  • The error message points to the session/connection rather than your account, or the game never gets past the login screen.
  • Another player in the same household can't log in from the same machine. A typical side effect of device-based blocks.

If none of these apply to you, you probably don't have a device ban — in which case you don't need a spoofer. Don't buy without being sure.

Options other than a spoofer

As the side selling this, we'll still say it: a spoofer is not the only way and not always the smartest way.

OptionUpsideDownside
Changing hardwareActually changes the identityCostly; it's not clear which part is flagged
Playing from another computerFree, the cleanest wayYou need a second machine
Appealing through supportThe only legitimate route if the ban is unfairLow chance of success for bot/cheat bans
SpooferTries to let you play on the current machineNot permanent, a rule violation, creates new risk

If you think your ban is unfair, try the official support route first. It is free and it is the only within-the-rules solution.

Who needs it, who doesn't?

Might need it: players who have previously had an HWID/device ban and cannot get into the game from the same computer at all.

Doesn't need it: players who have never had a device ban. In that case a spoofer gains you nothing; it is unnecessary expense and unnecessary risk. Using a spoofer "just as a precaution" is not a sensible strategy — because a spoofer is not a precaution, it is a tool that comes into play afterwards.

If you are not sure, ask us about your situation before buying via Discord or Telegram; if we think you don't need it, we will say so.

Honest warnings

We sell this product, but there are things we want you to know before you buy:

  1. Using a tool to get around a sanction violates GF's terms of use. The decision and responsibility are yours.
  2. We can't give a guarantee. No spoofer can promise a permanent result against anti-cheat updates. Don't trust a seller who promises one.
  3. If you have an account ban, this product does not solve it. We don't want you buying with the wrong expectation.
  4. An unlimited license does not mean "works forever"; it means an indefinite right to use. Changes on the game side can affect the software's effectiveness.

If you don't find these points acceptable, don't buy — that is a better outcome for us too.

Frequently asked questions

What is an HWID ban?
HWID is the unique hardware identifier derived from parts of your computer such as the motherboard, disk and network card. An HWID ban is when the sanction is applied directly to the device rather than the account. Opening a new account is not enough; the block kicks in again when you log in from the same computer.
Will a spoofer lift my account ban?
No. A spoofer only changes the hardware ID; your banned account stays banned. It tries to get around a device-based block, not an account-based one. No software can bring back a banned account.
Is a spoofer a permanent solution?
No. Anti-cheat systems are updated constantly and spoofing is a constant race. A method that works today may not work after an update. Using a spoofer also creates a new sanction risk of its own.
Do I need a spoofer if I haven't been banned?
No. If you have never had an HWID ban, a spoofer gains you nothing and means unnecessary risk and expense. A spoofer is designed for players whose device has been blocked.
Is using a spoofer against the rules?
Yes. Any tool aimed at getting around a sanction violates GF's terms of use and, if detected, can result in a new sanction. The decision and responsibility are the user's.
How much is Byte Software Spoofer?
Via Kabasakal Online it is 225 TL for 1 day, 780 TL for 7 days, 1,600 TL for 30 days and 2,225 TL for unlimited. Because prices can change, we recommend checking the current amount on our Kabasakal seller profile before buying.
